One of Snuva's original caches hidden with Chepup, who was visiting
from California. Snuva wanted to show Chepup some of Hobart's
lovely walking track areas. Bring a picnic, bring your dog!
UPDATE 17 June 2007: Today this cache has been changed
significantly - new coordinates, new hint, and new micro container.
Yes, normally I would agree that this should be listed as a new
cache. However, I would like to maintain a little of my geocaching
‘history’ and not archive this as it was one of the caches I hid 28
March 2004, wet behind the ears and new to caching. But guess what:
I‘m allowing anyone who found this cache prior to today to log
another find.
This hide is more what I originally intended for the cache but
didn’t know how to execute at the time. (Hey - I hadn’t even found
a cache yet!). I love this area because there are fantastic views,
plus there are some great tracks around to have a walk - just make
certain you four legged friend is on a lead and grab one of the
handy bags. Or bring a picnic - there are tables conveniently
located nearby.
The closest parking closes at 4.15 pm daily, however there is
parking lower down the road that is available 24/7. This cache
would be fine at night, just take care as there is uneven ground in
the vicinity. The area can be Muggle Central, so please cache with
care.
