A nice little drive south of town and close to a couple of other caches in the area.
Head south on Hwy. 97 until you reach the Lava Butte Visitors Center, Here you will need to turn around and head back toward town for a little ways. There is a turn out to the right, which is acually a dirt road. There are places to park along side the dirt road.
