Near an easy exit on and off for both north and south bound travelers. Short ways up dirt road.
This is our second cache. That is why it is called Number Two. Again there is an exit close for both north and south bound travelers but you will have to go a short ways from the exit, maybe 1/8 of a mile, and then turn up a short section of gravel/dirt road. It is close to this road. Great place was just waiting for our large container to fit into. And there was no poison oak anywhere near this location.When you head back to the freeway, check out the Historical marker for the Applegate trail sites. There is another cache nearby.
