macatac1961: Shutting this down, thanks to all who searched for it. I'm trying to lean away from hides that you might need to pay a park fee to access. Will move all the shtuff to a future cache, Mac.

Geocache Description:

Located in Sears Bellows County Park. Hampton Bays, NY. Nice easy hike on clearly defined trails. Click on, 'User's Web Page' at the top of this page for more park info.

It's only Rock & Roll... This is a theme cache. Rock music CD's that is. I burned a bunch of 60's and 70's rock music CD's and stuck them in a .30 cal ammo box. Good tunes if you're 'middle aged'. No rap, no disco just good old Rock & Roll. There are also a few small trade items if that's not your music style. Or just log in and say hello or swap a few WG$. I parked at:

Near a sign with a big 'P' on it and another sign nearby that says, "Gates locked at 4:00 PM". That sounds like they mean it. This is a nice family campgrounds area. Park at the suggested spot and take the blue blazed trail which starts out heading SW around Bellows Pond. As always, be aware of ticks and poison ivy when hiking. Enjoy the hunt. This trail also hooks up with the Paumanok Path (white blazes) off 24 but I'm not sure of that route. No bushwacking needed, cache is only about 20' from the blue trail.
