The Falls Tour: Snow Falls North, Snow Falls West
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
2 waterfalls situated on each side of the road. One is a plunge type fall that will likely dry up in the summer as it is now a gentle flow over the top, the other a cascading type fall that rushes through the trees and under the road to spreadout and cascaded down the hill meeting up with the plunge waterfall to continue on down a rocky rapid like creek.
This cache is part of a larger series of waterfalls that we are putting together in "The Falls Tour:"
We have placed a letter in the lid of the cache. Please note the letter on the lid, so that you can find the final cache. Note: We are in the process of revamping this tour, so please collect the letters. And as soon as the tour is finalized you can start decoding the letters for your final waterfall.
The cache is a small round cannister in camoflauge. Approximately 1.5" in diameter by 5" long
We have placed the cache a little down from the waterfalls.
Due to the closeness of Snow Creek Falls (North and West), we have decided to make these 3 waterfalls part of a smaller Multi. Note: This cache is still part of a larger multi for The Falls Tour
The mini Multi is under the name "The Tree" Waypoint GCJERW . This was done to encourage everyone to get out and walk one of this scenic section of the Bruce Trail and Bennett Side Trail. From cache to cache this trail is approximately 2km round trip.
In order to find "The Tree" you will need to find both
The Falls Tour: Snow Falls North, Snow Falls West (Waypoint: GCJERF) and The Falls Tour: Silver Creek (Waypoint: GCJER5). We have posted a set of North and West Coordinates on each lid. Once you have collected both sets of coords. You can then go out and get "The Tree" on your return walk to your car
