Haggis Hunter: SpecialK. has kindly sent me a couple of pictures of the container. I have to say that the cache has been well and truly compromised. The contents look so bad that I am not looking forward to the retrieval of the container. I just hope I don't get reported to the police for rummaging in the woods with my marigolds on!! [:O]

I'm not going to replace this for it to probably happen again, I would have prefered for it to have been stolen? [:(]

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This cache is a nice, short woodland walk along the Braid Burn.

For the walk, park at co-ords N55° 54.304 W003° 14.454 this is a main road that at the time of placing the cache, does not have parking restrictions. You will require sturdy boots or wellies in wet weather going this way. You will not need to cross the burn to find the cache.

For the not so scenic (but less mud) route to the cache park at co-ords N55° 54.211 W003° 15.030 this is at the end of a street in an estate, go up the drive that says private (yes you can walk up there). You will have to cross the burn to find the cache.

When there has been wet weather, Wellies are definitely recommended!!

Please put the cache back as far as you can to make sure it is hidden well, as this is a popular area for dog walkers.

Because of the trees the co-ords may be a bit off, but the clue should help.

Travel Bugs are the property of the person who has released them. Therefore I do not count them as a swap item.
Please DO NOT take an item in exchange for any Travel Bugs that you may wish to leave in this cache.

If you are new to Geocaching or don't know the area, then have a look at my bookmark lists for Edinburgh, you may find them helpful.
