How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This micro-cache takes you to see the Department of Architecture at HUT campus.

The initial coordinates should take you to a stone garden in the backyard of the building. To determine the coordinates for the final cache, you need to follow a certain path. The path is started from the SW corner of the landing near the entrance. Initially, you'll have to be facing the garden.

The path goes as follows:

F R R F R R R CCW90 R R R B R R B
CW90 R F F F F F L L L CW90 B L L F
L L B B L L L L CCW90 F F F R F F
F F F R R R F F F F L L

Now count the number of rock tiles straight behind you. Multiply the result by the unlucky number to get the direction of the cache from your current location. Multiply the result by two to get the number of long steps you need to take to reach the cache.
