This cache is located in Riverside park in Smithfield, NC. The park is adjacent to the Neuse River.
Parking is available at Coordinate N35 30.685 W78 20.971. Stay on the paved trail. The cache container is a 8"x5" metal box. The cache is named for the bridge pier which is visable from the cache. Take a few minutes to explore this park. Some things you may see: a tree with a name tag, a waterfall of sorts and maybe a few fishermen.Enjoy this small, but unusual park.
