Satanslapdog and Silver's Multicache #1
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
A circular walk starting in Coleshill, as much a test of navigating skills as caching skills.
You are invited to enjoy an interesting walk through a quiet part of Buckinghamshire, where birds do sing, hey ding-a-ding, ding. You might even see some alpacas and you will certainly encounter a red lion. You will also be able to experience the early days of geocaching, when you were made to work a little harder for your victory and when boxes were not always waterproof. Two of the original "ice cream" boxes are still being used.
The stated co-ordinates will take you to the suggested start point, the Red Lion public house, (opposite the duck pond and church). There are four boxes to find on the circuit. The coordinates for #1 are N 51º 38.657 W 000º 37.200.
The co-ordinates for #2 will be provided in #1 and so on. Each box contains a logbook, but only the final cache, which is smaller and greener, contains traded items.
You will need to cross a major road twice. Although it might seem that you need to walk down it, it is highly recommended you stick to the footpaths for a more enjoyable experience! Please take care crossing!
A map of the area may be useful, just to aid in choosing a footpath. Those in a hurry can complete the circuit in around 90 minutes.
Originally there were no hints to help locate the boxes. These have been added to comply with current practice.
