Geocache Description:

Enjoy a 7-mile back-road drive through the rustic and pretty farmland of central Lehigh County. You'll visit five covered bridges along the Jordan Creek. Get a clue at each bridge to determine the coordinates of a 30mm ammo box hidden along the creek near the last covered bridge - the Manassas Guth. The county has posted Bridge Tour signs along the road. However, the signs seem to disappear at key turns. Follow the waypoints I list below. Note that I didn't include a 6th Lehigh bridge, the Bogert, the last in the county. Someone else has already used it as a cache location GCHOTT.

Ancient Bridge

Though weather-worn, it sits there
In dignity and charm,
The ancient bridge of childhood
That led to Grandpa's farm.

It used to like the rainstorms
And never minded dust,
Somehow though that's different
From aching boards--and rust.

Do you think it remembers
Young lovers' Sunday walk?
The joy of moonlight hayrides--
The laughter and the talk?

Does it recall the wagons
With pumpkin piled sky-high
On the way to market
For sweet November's pie?

Though weather-worn, it sits there,
As if awaiting sound
Of young, impatient hoof-beats
Upon the frozen ground.
