Sam and I have never been fond of micros. For the most part, we find them annoying. That being said, yes this is a micro. I hope the end justifies the means on this one. The site has significant sentimental value. Despite the number of people that traverse this area, I fear it is often overlooked in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This site was originally dedicated August 25, 1996. Due to construction, it was removed and then rededicated a few years later. Once you have reached the site, please take the time to read the poem on the center panel. After that is done, solve for the heading and the distance to the nearby micro.

HEADING = ABC degrees, where: The first digit of the rededication year is the A. The second digit of the rededication day is B. The third digit of the rededication year is C.

DISTANCE = X feet (approximately). Find the five pointed star. The point with two clasped hands points at two numbers. Pick the larger of the two numbers. This number is X.

Once these two numbers are solved, find raised disc on the sidewalk. From this disc, apply the heading and walk X feet.

When placed, the cache contained a log book, a small pin, a figure, a geocoin TB, and a YJTB. Please bring a pen/pencil to sign the log. I suggest tiny trade items, if any. This cache is really about the location.

Happy Hunting!
