Geocache Description:

Historic Last Chance Gulch - Helena's Main Street is home to many shops and businesses interspersed with plenty of history. Along this outdoor mall, one can find an old trolley car that was used until 1928, a sculpture of the Four Georgians, who were the first to discover gold on the Gulch, and a large number of historic buildings including the Power Block, the Atlas Building and the Securities Building.

This is a micro cache large enough for only a log; you will want to bring your own pencil. No trades necessary.

This is a very public area so please be discreet in locating and re-hiding the cache exactly where you found it.

Please Note: This cache is handicap accessible for a wheelchair-bound person.

Park at N 46 35.217, W 112 02.427. (Two bits weekdays, free on weekends). Walk out of the north end of the parking lot, momentarily ignoring your GPS. Turn east to pan for gold, then turn south (watch your GPS) and find the Bag of Wind, take a ride from olden days, throw a Rope Around the Moon, and look up at the old time fire protection structure while you read a little history.

Note: The Game/Toy store next to the cache has some Geocaching supplies and GPS units made for kids. They have also been kind enough to supply hints if asked.
