Geocache Description:

A micro cache located on Pilot Knob. Spectacular Views Available!

Oheyawahi/ Pilot Knob

The view from the first stage is pretty spectacular. From Here you can see Airport, Fort Snelling, Downtown Minneapolis, and various other landmarks around the city. Please feel free to identify your own in your log.

It appears that efforts are still underway to try and develop this piece of property. I found this interesting document on the web discussing the history of Pilot Knob and some attempts to develop this area for some really expensive condos. Please take the time to read it.

Efforts are underway to try and preserve Pilot Knob. Please visit The Pilot Knob Preservation Organization.

The land around the first stage is NO LONGER POSTED.

The final cache container is a 1.5 x .5 inch pill container.

Please note:

  • Please Obey ALL Signs
  • You will need to bring your own pen or pencil.
