Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Johnston Mill Nature Preserve on land owned by Triangle Land Conservancy. Pick up a brochure and a map at the parking areas for more information and a history of the land.

Park at either
N 35° 59.723
W 79° 03.240
or

N 35° 59.518
W 79° 02.838

The cache coordinates were obtained using a Garmin eTrex Vista. Coordinates were taken 3 times on different days and at different times and then averaged. The accuracy was as low as 28 feet. The parking coordinates were averaged also.

Following the trails, the cache is about the same distance from each parking area.

The container is an ammo box. Please make sure it is hidden well when you leave. Consider completing the loop of the trail rather than going back the way you came.

Check out some cool looking tree roots next to the bridge at:
N 35° 59.402
W 79° 03.008

Enjoy!
