North Burnsville Auto Tour
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
This is a five part multi. The tour will bring you to some of Burnsville’s newest projects as well as an old favorite. Most cachers will want to drive between the stages. There is legal parking at all stops.
At the coordinates listed above you will find a plaque. On the top of the plaque is an etched drawing that includes a company name.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.
Add the letters of that company’s name up, using A=1, B=2, C=3, ... Z=26 and call that number "SUM".
Second stage is at:
44 46. _ _ _ (SUM + 317)
93 16. _ _ _ (SUM + 586)
At this location you will need to find a stone with a police connection containing two years.
Third stage is at:
44 46. 0 _ _ (first year - 1921)
93 16. _ _ _ (2620 - second year)
At this location there is a plaque with a year on the center pole. Use this year to calculate your next stage.
Fourth stage is at:
44 46. _ _ _ (year - 1235)
93 16. _ _ _ (year - 1421)
At this location you need to find a six-digit serial number including the digit before the hyphen.
The serial number you're looking for looks like this: 9-XXXXX.
First three digits _ _ _ = X
Last three digits _ _ _ = Y
Final stage is at:
44 47. _ _ _ (X - 774)
93 16. _ _ _ (Y + 194)
The final is a small-size cache.
