Geocache Description:

By the largest of the lakes in Præstevangen, Brededam, King Frederik VII builded in 1859 a small palace and a kitchen building. The palace was build on Fantisens Ø / Fantasy Island, which started as a peninsula. To make peace and quiet, workers created a canal and thereby the island was created. The King and Countess Danner came here to relax and to fish. The palace was one great big hall, and the inside was coated with pieces of glass and oystershells from parties at the castle. The place was sometimes ground for fine visitors. There is a story about the swedish King Carl XV was invited on a fishing trip on july 18. 1962. but the only thing they got was a little roach.

The kitchen building was demollished in 1905, and the palace was removed in the 1960' by security reasons. The only thin remaining is a part of a wall.
