Ladegård Sø (ECC #10)

På Arrenæs, der rækker langt ud i Arresø, er der en skøn natur. På Arrenæs finder man også ruinen af Dronningholm Slot, der blev bygget omkring år 1200 på en ø i Arresø. Nær Dronningholm Slot ligger Ladegård Sø, der er en gammel grusgrav. I dag er det et skønt område, og man kan gå rundt om søen både nede i grusgraven og oppe på kanterne af grusgraven. Cachen er placeret tæt ved Ladegård Sø. Cachen er måske ikke helt nem at komme til. Koordinater:

Ladegård Lake (ECC #10)

On Arrenæs, a foreland reaching far into Arresø, you will find some wonderful nature. On Arrenæs one also finds the ruin of Dronningholm Castle, which was built around year 1200 on an island in Arresø. Close to Dronningholm Castle one finds Ladegård Lake, which is an old gravel pit. Today it is a wonderful area, and you can walk around the lake both down in the gravel pit and up along the edges of the gravel pit. The cache is located close to Ladegård Lake. The cache might be a bit difficult to come near. Coordinates:

Parking area: N 55° 58.254 E 012° 03.627
Cache: N 55° 58.211 E 012° 04.036

More information about the area can be found here: Arrenæs, Frederiksværk. A similar printed leaflet can normally be obtained from most public libraries in Denmark as well as local turist offices.

Remember: Cache in, trash out - so bring a garbage bag.
