HighCountryAdmin: I am archiving this defunct geocache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair or replace the cache sometime in the future, please contact me via my profile, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

Thank you,

Geocache Description:

We had originally wanted to place this near the Rock House (built by the Kiwanas) but there was already one there. Instead, we placed Runner Up. The cache is a clear rubbermaid 1.6L container with an official geocache sticker on the lid.

There are two possible ways to get there. You can take the tram and hike about 1.2 miles North towards the cache or you can park at Sandia Peak and hike about 0.5 miles south. Either way has good trails. The cache itself is a little off the beaten path.ORIGINAL CONTENTS*log book *pen *travel kleenex *plastic bracelets *LED light *camera *Future Burns and Future Smithers (travel bug/tagalong).Please take a picture of your group (or you). When the camera is finished we will retrieve it, have the pictures developed and post them either on this site or through a site we plan to have running in the near future. If you travel a little farther up the path (about 0.1 miles) you can visit the Rock House and enjoy the view of Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
