How Geocaching Works

You’ll have to be like “Dirty Harry” to find this one.
1/10/05 - THIS CACHE HAS BEEN PULLED AT THE REQUEST OF THE GALVESTON COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENTMENT. BEING THAT IT WAS PLACED NEAR ONE OF THEIR FACILITIES IT CAUSED A LITTLE EXCITEMENT WHEN FOUND BY ONE OF THE CONSTABLE'S OFFICERS. MY SINCEREST APOLOGIES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED TO ALL THE OFFICERS INVOLVED. ALTHOUGH THE CID WAS PRETTY UNDERSTANDING, THEY HAVE ASKED THAT I PASS ON A REQUEST THAT WE AS GEOCACHERS CONSIDER THE LOCATIONS WHERE WE PLACE OUR CACHES. WITH TODAY'S TERRORIST CONSCIOUS WORLD, A CONTAINER, USUALLY CAMOUFLAGED, PLACED IN A STRATEGIC LOCATION (SOUND FAMILIAR) CAN REALLY CAUSE SOME SERIOUS CONCERN TO THOSE NEARBY AND NOT AWARE OF OUR ACTIVITIES.
I'M GOING TO LEAVE THIS CACHE SITE ACTIVE FOR AWHILE SO THAT I CAN GET THE WORD OUT.
This cache is a well-camouflaged pill bottle with a few very small trade trinkets and a scroll log. This micro should remain well hidden year ‘round. Although this could be a “Park and Grab”, the difficult part will be not getting caught. If caught, you might be allowed one phone call, but I doubt it. Bring a pen for signing the scroll. Try not to use the hint as it can help with a quick get away. The difficulty level will vary depending when you come here; weekdays during "business hours" about a 3.5, off hours and weekends an easy 1.
