Team Tate: Due to circumstances, I am going to have to archive this cache. Hopefully someone else will take up this idea.

Geocache Description:

This cache is based upon an original idea by Team Tate - The Geocache Fox Hunt. Two years on, the telematics system has been upgraded and positions are automatically published on a web page every five minutes. Simple!

This is a mobile cache that is always on the move. In fact, the cache box itself is our family car!

But how do I find it? I hear you ask. Simple!

or
go to http://www.teamtate.co.uk/loc.html using your home or mobile internet browser.

Do not go to the published coordinates. No one will be there!!! They are an average of all the positions this vehicle has produced over the last few months, and is provided to give you a central location for the general area in which the vehicle is used the most.

When you find the cache you will find a familiar notice on the dash board advising how to gain access to the cache box in the boot! You will need your mobile phone and be prepared for a short wait. The cache container is a standard ammo box containing a log book and all the usual bits and pieces. It can even accept travel bugs!

Some rules:

The cache can be opened from 7:00am to 7:00pm Monday to Friday, and from 10:00am to 7:00pm at weekends
A request to open the cache box outside these hours will not be responded to. Sorry!
No racing
No speeding - the cache can only be logged once it stationary as indicated on the link
No argument!

Special thanks go to NEJ for his hard work with the Web/FTP engine, and to Eckington for approving this slightly unusual concept. Cheers guys!

Good luck - we look forward to meeting you out there!
