A 3 part cache that is dedicated to my favorite spaghetti western.
The first two stages are very close together, the last is but a
short drive away.
The Good: At the coordinates above you will find a monument
to our modern day heroes. They are unassuming and stay out of the
limelight. But when you REALLY need them they come running and will
risk it all to help you and your family. Take a moment to thank
them if you can. At the memorial you will find a plaque with the
years of service for the WFD. Subtract 1183 from the first year to
get the North coordinates (xxx) to the next waypoint. Subtract 1677
from the second year to get the West coordinates (zzz).

The Bad: Very close by you will find a historical plaque
with quite a different theme. I am not sure why this piece of
trivia is recorded, but there it is. Subtract 1274 from the year
Lloyd is reported to have left his life of crime and use this
number as the North coordinates (aaa). Subtract 1496 from the year
Lloyd was shot by his wife. Use this for the West coordinates
(bbb).

The Cache: At the cache site you will not have to disturb a
grave, but then you will also not find a buried treasure of gold
coins. You will instead be searching for a 35mm film canister with
the requisite log book. The cache is only a few feet from available
parking. Be sure to bring a pen or pencil with you. Log your visit
and take a moment to enjoy the views of the front range.
Update: 11-9-10 Cache is now a lightly camoed pill bottle.
