Geocache Description:

Although this area can be fairly overgrown getting to this cache should not be too hard of a walk as this was going to be a bicycle trail but a very high flood when they were building the trail flooded some of the lower parts of the trail before it was finished and they never completed it.

This cache was placed by my brother who lives in the mountians in Colorado. This is one of his favorite areas to visit when he is back in Iowa. It's original cache items are souvenir items from Colorado. It is placed near the old Bill Riley Bike trail that was never completed. This cache is on a bluff overlooking Whitebreast Creek as it feeds into Lake Red Rock. We drove to within 50ft. of the cache site but that is probably not a reasonable option for most cachers. Plan on walking about 3/4 of a mile to the cache. This cache is another that may be accessable from a boat but this whole area sits on a bluff and the rocks and cliffs might make it a challenge to get to from a boat.
