macatac1961: I went back to look for this since Miles and Zingerhead couldn't find it and coincidently neither can I. I found where I believe I hid it but it's not there. Sorry guys and anyone else who might have searched in vain. Thanks to everyone who looked for it. I won't be replacing it because of those no parking signs on Mt. Misery Rd.

Geocache Description:

The Black Dog of Misery

There are a lot of stories about unexplained happenings in and around the area of Sweet Hollow Road and Mt. Misery Rd. Some tell of the ghost of a woman who died in a fire in an old hospital in the area, she appears on the side of the road in a white veil and walks out in front of cars before she vanishes. Another story tells of a groom who along with his bride were killed in a car accident and that he still walks these roads in search of his bride. There have been UFO sightings in this area as well as reports of revolutionary soldiers marching through the trails and disappearing into thin air. Whatever the story you might have heard, the facts are that something is amiss here. Whether it's something in the drinking water or some strange rare plant that spores hallucinogens into the air. Something has been the basis for all these odd events. One of the stories I read about made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up while I was searching for a spot to hide this small Rubbermaid container, and that's of the Black Dog of Misery. He lives in these woods and is supposedly so evil and hideous, that just seeing him is a guarantee of certain demise. Right as I picked up a few branches to cover the stash, I heard barking from further in the park ... sounds like it's getting clos
