Geocache Description:

Pirate & Crafty's WebCam Cache

Warren's First
and Only Web Cam Cache

New Theme Starting 5-10-18

Looks like summer is finally here.
Lets see some leg! Wear your shorts

(See below for Current Theme)
Feel free to log each theme

Also please walk in closer to the cam so we can see you better!
Come right up on the porch.

I felt Warren needed a Web Cam cache so I took it upon myself to set one up.
This should be an easy find, but that is ONLY half the battle!
You will need a CELL Phone and a friend setting at a computer to capture your picture to prove you were there.
But I think I'm going to change the requirements from time to time. It could be you holding up a sign with your user name on it, or it could be you just holding up your GPS and Cell phone, it could be you standing on one foot, or most anything I can dream up for you to do. Who knows where the spirit will move me. ;-)

This could get interesting!

Updated Feature!
Now you can retrieve your own picture without the need for someone
on the other end in front of a computer!
You will have needed to stand in front of the cam for at least 7 mins
to make sure your picture is saved.
The cam is set to save a picture every 5 mins. between 6Am and 9Pm
All Pictures will be deleted at 6Am every morning
which should give you time to retrieve your picture.

Click Here to use this feature if you can't get someone to save your picture!

Get Your Own Picture

Note: You may be asked to install a small plug-in to view the Camera.
This is safe and is needed.

If you are NOT comfortable with this I'll be happy to save your picture for you.
Call me at 723-7348 or ring the bell on the front porch. (Jackson St side)
I am usually home and would be happy to help.

To Qualify:
1) Check the webcam site before heading out. Click Here: You never know when the server might be down.
2) Find the location using your trusty GPSr.
3) Call your partner on your cell phone and let them know you're in place.
4) Have the computer partner Click Here: and find where you are standing. Your partner can Pan/Tilt the cam to get the best picture. Also noted by the FTF person was that you can click on the cacher in picture and the camera will center on where you click. Smile for the camera, and have them click the camera icon to capture the picture. Then right click on the picture to save it and Email it to you.
5) Upload the picture to the Geo-Caching site along with your log (resizing may be neccessary).

Remember - if you don't follow the current theme, you don't get credit.
You can also log as a Web Cam if you haven't done so before.
