Our first archived cache [:(]. What a solemn moment...

Geocache Description:

Grab all your latest geocaching toys and all your picnic goodies. Load them all (and the family) into the Geo-jalopy and head on down to Jell's Park for an opportunity to meet, greet and eat with other Geocachers. Event Time is 5:30pm.

Enter the Park at S37° 53.522 E145° 11.504. Parking is available fairly close to GZ, but the road is one way so if the place is crowded, you may need to drive around a second time. The cache co-ordinates will take you to a small tower. From there take a look around and find us. We will try to pick the best possible possie within a short distance from this tower. We will make sure you will recognise where to go.

Bring everything you need for a picnic - Chairs, Picnic Tables, Food, Drinks, Mozzie Repellant, Geo toys and other games. There are some picnic tables there and we will do our best to reserve some but they get snapped up fairly fast. Some people have expressed that they would like to pool food into a buffet so please feel free to go along with this or bring and eat your own if you prefer.

We will be organising a caching game for all the geo-kids and also placing down another loggable cache for the day. If other attendees are planning the same, it may pay to liaise with us so we don't end up with half a dozen boxes behind the same tree. Note also that some areas are under revegetation.

We will be adjacent to a playground. There are good facilities, lakes, ponds, paved paths, abundant birdlife. Gates to come in close at dusk, but you are able to leave at any time, 24 hours.

Looking forward to seeing as many Geocachers there as possible. Come along and put a face to all those Geo-names.

Watch this space for further updates as the date approaches.
