Welcome to Leesburg, Virginia.
If it's been a while since you've visited, you may not recognize the place. This cache is located in a pine stand of about 10 acres - all that is left of 400 acres once known as 'Tudor Knolls'.
My daughter and I spent many a summer's day in the meadow adjacent to this stand, where there was a large warren of wild rabbits, a family of possums, numerous hummingbirds, butterflies by the hundreds, and wild growing herbs such as mint and thyme.
All of this is gone now. The old fox hasn't been seen at all since the digging started, and the deer have been pushed out. The beauty of this land has been taken, and it isn't coming back.
