Located in the Cherokee Removal Memorial Park. The event will be held for two days, April 16 and 17 from 10AM until we get tired of picking up trash and talking.
||GEOSET will be participating in the Third Annual International Cache In Trash Out Day. The event last year was very successful, and everyone had a great time. We expect this one will be no different.
This year's event will be held in a beautiful new park that is being developed and needs a little help. When we asked TVA about the Skull Island CITO they specifically mentioned this area as one that they could use some help with. We greatly appreciate their contribution to geocaching by allowing caches in TVA recreation areas, and would like to again say thank you in this tangible way.
|Update: We will meet at 10:00 AM on both the 16th & 17th and pick up trash for 2-4 hours each day, depending on how much we get done and the weather. If you can't get there right at 10AM that is OK, show up when you can. TVA and Meigs County are both very excited that we will be helping them with the cleanup for this new park, let's give them a good showing.
Trash bags and gloves will be provided, as will a few snacks and drinking water.
A few door prizes have also been lined up!
(No hints available.)
