A regular geocache outside of an electrical substation on the eastside of Tucson.
While wandering around on roads looking for access to dirt roads that run into the Pantano (as shown in my map book) we discovered an electrical substation that if I did not it existed previously, I'd never paid any attention to it before. The two buildings to the east of this substation are KGUN 9 news and the Ice Rink and I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't the biggest clients of particular substation! We parked where the road ended and walked. Hubby wanted to look up close and personal through the fence at all the electric substation stuff. I wandered around still trying to find access to those dirt roads I could see. Alas! No access, new fencing. Drat! But we left a geocache for all of you who might find standing near the fence of an electrical substation as fascinating as my husband did.
