Geocache Description:

Take exit 242 off of Interstate 25 go East on Rt. 165 about 5 Miles turn Right on Tunnell Springs Rd. Go a couple hundered YARDS. Turn right on Quail Meadow Rd. Follow this A short distance to the Parking Area @ 35 17.863 106 27.386.

After you park Follow this trail to 35 17.720 106 27.415.
This will put you on the correct trail, #246 [not signed].

The trail will take you past a large Gray Sandia Wilderness Sign.
Continue on the trail thru an opening in the fence, until you come to a SECOND opening @ 35 17.250 106 27.161.

Go right and STAY on the trail keeping the fence on your LEFT side for a short distance. NO NEED TO BUSHWACK.

Continue on the trail thru the switchbacks to the Cache
NOT FOR YOUNG CHILDERN; Perhaps 7 & above.
Excellent Views From the cache.

Distance to cache about 1 Mile from Parking, With a 500 foot elevation change

Cache is a plastic 12 0unce container painted camo with an official caching sticker.
Contents;Official caching log book, pencil, two GeoCaching New Mexico Pins and a Caching Sticker.
