How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Now open for business is this Travel Bug Hotel hidden in the East Irvington Nature Preserve located off Taxter Road, a mile from Route 119. EZ On/EZ Off for traffic traveling on Interstate 87, Interstate 287 and the Saw Mill River Parkway.
There's no spa. No room service. No mini-bar. No TV. No mints on the pillow. No pillow, let alone a bed. The accomodations are spartan but at least it's not a prison. The mission statement of the Hotel Wecquasgeeks is to help bugs get where they're going. The only house rule is: don't be greedy (and no women in the rooms after 11). The only exception to the rule is if you can help a bug on its mission, have at it and Godspeed. If you feel uncomfortable taking a travel bug and not leaving one in exchange - don't worry, we accept I.O.U.s!
Please only trade travel bugs, other travelers, geocoins, and signature items. Where's George? bills are of course welcome. No other tradeables, please.
Parking is available at N 41° 02.898 W 073° 50.405. Dogs must be on a six foot leash. The cache is a ten minute walk from the parking area if you stay on the fire road. If you've got the time, enjoy the ridgeline views afforded by the namesake trail. The cache is not far from the trail.
Free counters provided by Andale.
