Geocache Description:

Where's Tripper? (2)

Posted coordinates above are for Little Lake in Peterborough and are NOT THE LOCATION of the actual geocache.

This is a multi-waypoint mystery cache. I have provided you with 2 photos. These 'Mystery Photos' contain clues to finding my exact location. (click on photo to enlarge)

You will need a compass to complete this cache. Yes, I am warming you up for a future cache that I have in mind. (insert evil grin here)

Step 1: Find Tripper. Once my exact location is found you will need to visit the spot in order to obtain my coordinates (again use the photos to help you position yourself as both photos were taken from the same waypoint location).
The following 'adjustment' should help get you on the exact spot: N44 xx.xx72 W78 xx.x09

Mystery Photo 2

Step 2: Now pull out your compass. Off in the distance, just to the right of Mystery Photo 2, you will see another object similiar to the one behind you. Using your compass take a bearing and round this bearing to the nearest 10. Call this number B.

Step 3: Using B, calculate the final cache coordinates as follows:

(B-35) metres at a bearing of (B*3)-47 True North

The mystery waypoint should be easy to find -- especially by residents of the Peterborough area. If you're not familiar with the area feel free to ask one of the locals, they're really friendly folk. As you can see from the photo, this spot will provide you with an astounding view of the Peterborough area (was that a hint?) -- pack a lunch and a camera.

Please be VERY careful to leave the cache exactly as you found it AND feel free to add additional cover if necessary. It's well hidden as the site area tends to get its share of local traffic - day and night. Please re-hide the cache carefully, we wouldn't want the cache to go missing in action. Thank you.

Finally, please do not include any spoilers in your logs. Unfortunately, logs with spoilers (such as a picture or description that provides extra clues) will have to be deleted immediately.

Ciao,

TRIPPER & fam.

NOTES:

  1. Family friendly.
  2. Winter and night raid friendly.
  3. Geocache is in a small peanut butter container. Camouflaged of course.
Boooo!! Thank you Binthair for the concept. This one isn't nearly as evil as 'Where am I?' but stay tuned....
