This cache is brought to you compliments of StickMonkey, as this is a "baby" or "seed" cache, spawned from his cache Multiplicity, in beautiful Clarence, N.Y.
I figured it was time to get back to basics in these here parts, so the cache is a healthy 1.1 mile round trip from the recommended parking coords: N43 Deg. 05.899' W078 Deg. 47.076' on Meyer Road.
The cache is located in Pendleton, N.Y. just off a defunct extension of the Erie-Lackawanna railroad, that once ran from North Tonawanda to Lockport. Part of this line still exists, running the length of Erie Avenue in N.T., but it abruptly ends just across Niagara Falls Boulevard in Wheatfield at a feed mill. You are looking for a plastic screw-top container, wrapped in camo tape. Much larger than a micro, but smaller than a .30 cal box, so if intending to trade, think on the small side.
This was an early spring placement, so you may encounter some moderately heavy bushwacking during summer months; but the cache is not far off the trail, as seen in the aerial photo below. I saw no poison ivy while placing the cache, but it definately makes itself known in rural Niagara County.
