How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
The listed coordinates are for the trailhead, NOT THE CACHE LOCATION.
Evil Dr. Pikb has written a powerful virus designed specifically to attack and destroy all GeoCaching related pages on the world-wide-web. The virus will be spread by telephone to key international phone numbers, one in each targeted country.
The virus has not yet been released and is currently stored in a semi-hermetical sealed container produced from processed iron/carbon alloy and camouflaged with the secondary xylem of trees near a decommissioned airbase. The release of the virus is set to automatically deploy once the Geocaching.com country counter reaches a predetermined number.
BKip, the archenemy of Dr. Pikb, has intercepted an encrypted message, which is believed to provide the coordinates of the virus container. BKip, though renowned for his cache making skills, has very limited code-breaking abilities, and is providing the intercepted code below.
UA - Drop the zero
SV - Drop the 5
EG - Minus 18
SN - Inverted
Every time a cache is placed in a new country the pastime of GeoCaching grows stronger as does the ire of Dr. Pikb. Time grows short as the center of the GeoCaching universe, Geocaching.com, becomes a bulls-eye in the sights of those who would destroy those things good.
The only way to save Geocaching.com is for a super genius (and hero extraordinaire) to decode the message, find the container, and break the seal, thereby resetting the triggering counter, giving the forces of good more time to capture or destroy the evil Dr. Pikb.
