Cache byla umistena pri kajakovacim vylete Vranany - Melnik. Vltava zde neni regulovana jezy a tece prijemne rychle, lodni doprava neprekazi, ke konci cesty lze obhlednout luzni les na soutoku a zbytky navigace z dob pred stavbou Horinskeho plavebniho kanalu r. 1905. Plavbu lze ukoncit na Labi u mostu v Melnice (pozor, Labe uz je vodni cesta s nakladni dopravou)
Doporucuji pristup z vody: kdyz uz se rozhodnete pro pristup po sousi, tak pockejte na zimu a drzte se brehu, jinak se budete muset prodirat mohutnym koprivovym podrostem.
The cache has been placed during our kayaking trip from Vranany to Melnik. There are no dams in this part of Vltava River and the stream speed is pleasantly fast, also no freight ships would disturb you here. In the final part before the junction you can explore the swamp-like woods and remains of stonewalled river banks from the time before the parallel freight canal was built in 1905. You can finish your trip at the bridge in Melnik on Labe river (watch out for freight ships and motorboats here).
Access by boat is recommended. If you decide to approach this cache by land, wait for winter and keep close to the river bank, otherwise you would have to make your way through the high overgrowth of nettles.
