This is not a winter friendly cache! In fact, sometimes it's not too friendly at any time of year!
March 2010, I put the difficulty rating up a bit. The GPS tends to jump around in this area.
My sister turned 50 years old today. I'd like to buy her a park bench with a plaque on it, but she'll have to settle for this. Happy Birthday!
This is located in the Nature Center in Augusta, Me. You can park to find this cache in several locations. The first entrance is at the end of Murray Street along Route 105. There is another at Hodgkins Junior High and another entrance is at the end of Haskell Street which is a small street off of Cony Street. I recommend the Haskell Street entrance because there is parking and it's closer to the cache. This is a fun area to explore and a great place to walk your dog. There are trail signs, but I manage to get turned around in there. Waypoint your car.
This park is only open during daylight hours.
The original cache has birthday candles, birtday balloons, and treats that you'd give out in the goodie bags, in it.
