Geocache Description:

Hike, Bike or Ski on the Sisters Farm Trails

Almost a mile from the parking area, our special ammo box cache is hidden down by the river. The North Trail is the shortest way to go and the most scenic but has elevation changes as the trail follows the wooded, narrow ridge tops. The sinuous ridges are eskers (look it up) left over from the last glaciation. The trail along the river is basically flat but is the long way to go. The trails in between are, well, in between. Parking is at N45 26.075 W091 07.785. Trail Map. The day we placed this we saw a porcupine, a sand hill crane, and an eagle. This land is part of the Flambeau Mine property located directly across the river.
