This is a beautiful spot for a cache, but it can only be done with an ATV or dirt bike due to the flooding this spring. Trucks, Jeeps etc will not make it. Note that there are multiple co-ordinates so you can find your way.
Start your quest by heading west on highway #520 from Claresholm, Alberta until you reach the following co-ordinates:
N 49 deg 58.446 min
W 114 deg 05.197 min => We call this the hump.
Turn right (north) to the next co-ordinates:
N 50 deg 01.518 min
W 114 deg 02.705 min => We call this Honey Coulee
Turn left onto the dirt road and head west. You can unload your atv's here and proceed to the next co-ords:
N 50 deg 02.617 min
W 114 deg 04.852 min => turn left up the dirt road, stay right when the road forks. Proceed to next co-ords:
N 50 deg 02.852 min
W 114 deg 05.920 => at this meadow, stay left and then turn left at the cut line and proceed up the line to the next co-ords:
N 50 deg 02.902 min
W 114 deg 07.963 min => the view's good here, but take the trail left to the cache. Be sure to close the gate when you go through.
Time to the unload point is about 1 hour. Then about a half hour to the cache by atv.
