Southbank as it's known to most, Southgate as it is formally known is the location of the 27th cache by caughtatwork.
Please do not place travel bugs / coins in this cache as they seem to regularly go missing.
Please be aware of the cafe in the middle of the river. You will be spotted.
There are no longer any swaps in this cache as the quality drops too quick for me to continually replenish.
Right in the heart of Southbank, you can find cafes, restaurants, wine bars, music, art and a plethora of other activities at this location.
A short stroll from Flinders St station, this cache will also suit visitors to Melbourne.
The cheapest parking around can be had at Boathouse Drive for around $1.00 per hour up to 3 hours and the cache is a 10-15 minute stroll away.

This cache has a terrain rating of 2.5 as you will need to watch your step at the final location. One misstep and you'll find out why the Yarra is known as the upside down river.
The cache itself is not hard to find, but avoiding the muggles as you search will be tricky. This is especially true if any of the boat operators is moored close. You will need to avoid these muggles to make a safe retrieve of the cache at this location, which is why the rating on this cache is high.
The cache is around 1 litre in size and has been disguised to match its surroundings.
