This cache is nicely tucked away in Berkeley Springs State Park,
located in downtown Berkeley Springs, WV. This small little state
park is packed with history including its boast that it contains
the oldest spa in the country. The current park hours are 6 AM to
10PM, but that being said, there’s no fence to keep you out after
hours. You just might get chased.
Visit www.berkeleyspringssp.com for up to date park
and spa information.
Caution: There is plenty of parking along the main street and
the side street to the north of the park. Please be careful not to
get in the Private Parking Lot to the south of the park. The
Country Inn will tow (unless, of course, you’re staying
there...)
To claim this cache you must sign the log AND email the answers
to the following questions, which can be easily found by strolling
the grounds:
Later note: Since the adoption of the new cache logging
requirements for logging physical caches, these questions are now
optional. But we still recommend making them part of your caching
experience as they were originally inserted into this cache to show
off the State Park. Thanks.
1) Whose bathtub? And what year?
2) What month, day, and year was the time capsule dedicated?
3) What organization(s) sponsored the 2000 Millennium Landmark
Tree?
Waypoints are now included to help locate the required
information. They are approximate and vary greatly in this valley.
Use only as a general guide....
Dogs are allowed in the park, but not in the pool and spa areas.
A single person with a pet might have a little trouble obtaining
all the information necessary for this cache.
The Cache: This is a small microcache. Sorry, there is no room
for trade items. The cache contains only “a few log sheets”. Please
BYOP (Bring your own pen). Stealth most likely will be required.
Please be discreet and replace the cache securely.
Enjoy.
