Geocache Description:

Easy to reach area with nearby parking site.

English: The "Rote Wand" ("red wall") at the Siechenberg/Vacha Decimetre thick sandstones change with very thin layers of red-brown clay and silt stone. Large networks transported the sand near. The profile belongs into the "Volpriehausen-Folge" of the middle bunter. The former quarry supplied valuable building sand stone, among other things for the establishment of the neighbouring bridge. To log this cache you'll have to take a picture from yourself with a GPSr in your hand in front of the "red wall"! And you have to answer the following question (by eMail via my profile, please don't use the log for the answer ...!): How many years ago the deposit took place?

After sending the Mail to me, please feel free to log your visit - if something's wrong with your answer, I will contact you ...!
