A great location with some specatcular views during the daytime and at night.
The cache is a small plastic sandwich box positioned at Kelston Roundtop. Although there are many places to park within a walkable distance of your goal, I suggest near to the church at North Stoke, which is situated off the A431 between Bitton and Kelston. From North Stoke you have a number of choices of footpath to take which can give you circular walks. The one out the back of the church will take you towards Bath Twin City Cache (GCJ4G4) and you can go on to Bristol Panorama (GCH7VB). However walking back through the village towards the A431 you can take a track on the left which starts off capable of taking off-road cars and but soon turns into a bridleway, following this path takes you towards your goal, with some really special views and the start of my North Stoke Series enroute. Towards the end of the path you will come across a staggered cross of footpaths at this point you need to change paths on to the Cotswold Way this takes you around the back of the roundtop where there is a path taking you up to the top. Do take your time to circle the whole hill and enjoy the views. Bath, Keynsham, Bristol, Wales and the two severn crossings can all be seen on a good day from each side. To locate this cache find the obvious navigation beacon and collect the 4 digits from it, label them ABCD and complete the following calculation: N51 24.3A3 W002 25.0A0 FIRST TO FIND AWARDED TO alexkolb Trigtastic caches are a series of caches of all sizes placed at or near Trig Points.
