Geocache Description:

Park as close to the King Arthur Hotel as possible (summer is always a problem here)

Arthur was born here at Tintagel. His mother was Igerna who was married to Gorlois (Duke of Cornwall) Arthurs father was Uther Pendragon (King of Britain)he lusted after Igerna and had his wicked way hence Arthur!
King Arthur was around and about Cornwall circa AD500 - 550 in the "dark ages" He lived mainly in Dumnonia (Cornwall, Devon and part of Somerset) and brought up by Merlin who became the boys tutor and mentor.
Merlin arranged for the "sword-in-the-stone" "Excalibur" contest which led to Arthur becming king. Merlin also fell in love with the Lady of the Lake and Merlin taught her his skills . Eventually she became more powerful than him and had him imprisioned in a glass tower. Since Merlin was not around at the "Battle of Camlann" at Slaughterbridge (the final cache) perhaps this was the reason for Arthur's demise.
