Geocache Description:

This cache is located in beautiful Pacific Grove and is right across the street from the ocean.

The cache is an ammo box covered with camo tape to make it blend in even better. It is located just off of Ocean View Blvd right up a quiet little street. This cache can be almost driven right up to (within 20 feet).

I am hoping to make this cache a great spot to find really nice trade items and lots of Travel Bugs. To help speed up this process I have stocked the cache with a generous amount of GREAT trading items for all, but especially the first to find! All I ask is that you leave something cool in return or a lot of little things for one really COOL thing!

The original contents of the cache are as follows:

1 Handpainted lizard pen (for signing the logbook ONLY, not a trade item!)

1 Flip Flop Travel Bug
1 First to Find Plunkett Cup Travel Bug

3 Magnetic holiday themed LED lights
1 Keyring flashlight
1 Lighted Mini-Clock

As mentioned before, the cache is just off the road in an area that should be obvious from the title, a rock garden of sorts. Do not worry about the houses because you are not on their property. The area is pretty muggle-free so grabbing the cache should not be difficult. You can even use your car as a shield against prying eyes that happen to drive or walk past. The location could be in several places, but my GPSr was accurate on the day of the reading, so it should not be too difficult to find. Just in case, I included a couple of hints to help speed the process. You will have to flip over smallish rocks, nothing very heavy, in order to get this cache. Please replace the ammo can just as you found it and make sure it is hidden with rocks well just in case somebody happens upon it. Also leave the branch that is listed in the hints where you found it and try not to break it so others can use the hints properly. Thanks.

After you find the cache and log your visit, you may wish to climb up further on the rocks and sit atop for a somewhat tree-obstructed view of Monterey Bay. There are also numerous benches all over the area to sit in the grove of cypress trees. This is a VERY kid-friendly cache because of all the "rock climbing" that can be had for a fun adventure. You can also hop back in your car and continue on down Ocean View Blvd all along the waterfront and grab a bundle of other caches. Very pretty area for caching indeed.
