Junior Point Lookout started as a shelter cabin which was built
in 1931 just west of the summit. An L-4 cab was constructed on the
summit in 1933. It served as a firewatch station for over 30 years
and was removed in 1968. The photo above is what's left of the
lookout.
Some of the points of interest seen from the top are: Tyee
Mountain, Stormy Mountain, Stuart Range, and the top of Glacier
Peak, and Lake Chelan below.
