Geocache Description:

I invite you to Baláca. Baláca situated in Veszprém county lies north about 15 km of lake Balaton between Veszprémfajsz and Nemesvámos villages Villa Romana Baláca

Baláca was a village in the Roman era. There are ruins of some buildings with mosaic floor and spa with heating system. You can park N 47° 02.554 E 17° 53.223 You need to buy a ticket to see the ruins and find the first co-ordinate. (Prices are below) From the parking place you have to walk about 400m and you are on the first co-ordinate. Here you can find the co-ordinate of the 2. point in a behind a building under a stone. Open: from May 14- till Okt.. 31 Daily 10 am – till 5 pm Sunday and Monday: closed Tickets: Adults: 800 HUF Family (2 adults with 2 or more children) 2000 HUF To find the 2. point, go toward in the direction of Nemesvámos till the cross of N 47° 02.934 E 17° 52.743 Here is a tomb from the Roman era. The cache is near the tomb. Turist map free counters
