Geocache Description:

Yes, I kinda, sorta, oughta (closely related to woulda, coulda, shoulda) quit chewing Altoids gum. It’s an addiction, almost as bad as those for chocolate and geocaching. As a way to recycle those little tins, I’ll bring you to some places I am addicted to visiting. So take a deep breath, relax, and plan on just strolling to find these caches and get notches on your geocaching belt for pleasant visits.

DO NOT crawl in, on, or under this structure. It is fragile. It’s even older than I am! Keep your feet on the ground! Placed with permission.

8/27/06 - THE TRAIN ENGINE HAS MOVED!! I didn't really think it was possible when I made that comment on 8/13. Stopped by yesterday and discovered the truth. They moved my cache! Coords have been updated.

**8/13/06 - Something is not quite right - even a month ago when I was with two other cachers, the coords were "right on." Did they possibly move the train? LOOK FOR THE CACHE IN THE NOSE OF THE ENGINE!! And please note alternate coords in your logs. After I get a series of new logs, I'll average them and change the given coords.

“The Baby Goes to Boston”
- Laura E. Richards

What does the train say?
Jiggle joggle, jiggle joggle!
What does the train say?
Jiggle joggle jee!
Will the little baby go
Riding with the locomo?
Loky moky poky stoky
Smoky choky chee!

Ting! Ting! The bells ring,
Jiggle joggle, jiggle joggle!
Ting! Ting! The bells ring,
Jiggle joggle jee!
Ring for joy because we go
Riding with the locomo,
Loky moky poky stoky
Smoky choky chee!

Look! How the trees run,
Jiggle joggle, jiggle joggle!
Each chasing t’other one,
Jiggle joggle jee!
Are they running for to go
Riding with the locomo?
Loky moky poky stoky
Smoky choky chee!

Over the hills now,
Jiggle joggle, jiggle joggle!
Down through the vale below,
Jiggle joggle jee!
All the cows and horses run,
Crying, “Won’t you take us on,
Loky moky poky stoky
Smoky choky chee?

So, so, the miles go,
Jiggle joggle, jiggle joggle!
Now it’s fast and now it’s slow,
Jiggle joggle jee!
When we’re at our journey’s end,
Say good-by to snorting friend,
Loky moky poky stoky
Smoky choky chee!

My dad used to read this poem to me when I was barely old enough to walk. I read it to my own kids and grandkids. Amazingly the book of poems is still in one piece. And I still love trains.

FireFighterJ said it best in his log for my Payback 6 cache: “OK, Joy, here we go again. Trains! It just seems that you and trains are inseparable!”
