Geocache Description:

Vancouver Transit Memorial Project

Another in the series of caches remembering Vancouver Transit. This was the cache's 3rd stop, and was placed by Guido on September 3, 2001.

Vancouver Transit (GC19D6)was a “travelling cache” and one of the most popular caches ever to hit the lower mainland. Once found, the cache finder would pick up the entire cache and re-hide it in a new location, somewhere in the Greater Vancouver area.

From September 2001 to August 2004, Vancouver Transit made over 150 different stops, each one lasting anywhere from a few hours to a few days before moving on to the next.

Vancouver Transit is no more, but Pharmadude thought it would be great to memorialize the stops it made along the way by placing permanent caches where the TRANSIenT ones once lay. Everyone is invited to join the Vancouver Transit Memorial Project (VTMP). Email pharmadude@shaw for information on how to participate.

I have placed five caches on the North Shore in honor of the VTMP project. Four of these caches contain clues as to the location of the final, mystery cache "Clued in Yet?"

But don't worry! You can collect the clues in any order, and each individual cache is loggable as well.

Original cache contents were:
Golf balls
Logbook & Pencil
Clue to the Mystery Cache: "Clued in Yet?"

The caches in the "Clued in Yet?" series are:

VTMP No. 3: Indian River Rocks
VTMP No. 79: Along the Way
VTMP No. 80: Water Logged
VTMP No. 130: Crab Catcher's Cache

VTMP No. 100: "Clued in Yet?"
