Geocache Description:

Located at 6035 ft. the views will have you wishing you brought more film!!! The road in is rough but nothing a SUV type vehicle or pickup can't make. The cache is above Bumping Lake on top of Miners Ridge. Go past the public boat landing, here the road turns to dirt road. After several miles take a right onto the 1800 road. Then take a left on the 1809 road. This road will take you past Granite Lake and up to Miners Ridge. Like I said, it is rough, but I have seen suburbans and expeditions up here. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with an amazing view. Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainier, The Goat Rocks, Mt. Aix, you can even see White Pass ski area and Crystal Mountain ski area. Not to mention the road up to Sunrise and the lodge. Once at the top, there is a parking area with plenty of room to turn around. Do not drive up the road to the right. It only goes up for about 200 feet, and it is very tight up there. Not very good for turning around. Don't forget to bring binoculars and cameras. The cache is in a small plastic container. It has a log book, pencil and some small items. I was able to read 9 satellites in this area. So you should not have too much trouble locating the spot.
