How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Converge anytime from 2:00pm until 5:00pm - this leaves plenty of time for Central Park caching before and/or after!

It's the "1st Annual" so this is the one not to miss! There are open outdoor tables at the Boathouse Café (not the restaurant - it's the little snack café) in Central Park and we can meet up there for some Boathouse burgers, Sandwiches, Salads and other fare, or feel free to bring something for yourself.

It's a "Proto" Picnic because you're not required to bring food, but feel free to do so! Enough people will partake of the fixin's that can be purchased at the Boathouse café that some extra "bring-alongs" won't cause a stir! (I checked with the management and they're not bothered).

I'll be handing out plenty of SilverMarc "Cache Stash" Wooden Nickels to all who attend, and the usual "TB Trade-Off" can take place as well.

So use this excellent excuse to come into the city, grab those nearby Central Park caches still on your "to do" list, and have a snack and some icy cool beverages with your geocaching brethren and sisteren!

Saturday, August 20th from 2:00pm until 5:00pm
at the Boathouse Outdoor Café (not the restaurant!) along the Lake in Central Park.
