Scouting Around in Anglesea
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Found this lovely area while taking a little walk around the walking tracks behind a scout camp facility just outside Anglesea. There is a lot more track to walk around so enjoy them if you have the time (and energy)
Come in from S38°23.493' E144°12.303' and park at S38°23.754' E144°12.431'...
You could also approach from Ellimatta Road to the West near the sporting ovals.
The track was quite muddy and steep so take your time and watch your footing during the wetter months. In the warm(er) months it would be quite easy to get to GZ.
You will be searching for a 2L round clip top box - should be easy to find (watch for muggles who may also be enjoying the tracks).

- A sight familiar to those who have past beforeThis is the entrance to the Scouting Grounds of Anglesea. The actual entrance is further on (just past the car parking area) - this gateway has a small plaque commemorating EJ Hurst and his services to scouting in the area.
